See you Adelaide

It's our last show in Adelaide, sad face. Today we had most of the day off, so I went on a walk through the city and the botanical gardens. We saw this GIANT pelican, and snapped lots of photos of him protecting his island. I love the wildlife here, why can't we have all of these cool animals and plants in America!
Tomorrow we are heading to Melbourne, our last city of the tour... double sad face

1) Archway in the botanical garden
2) a sexy bitch
3) view from my hotel room
4) Pelican spotted!
5) there you are....

Next post from Melbourne! Good day mates!

Adelaide is the bomb!

So, the locals told us Adelaide was going to be super lame. I think they were just jealous they lived in Newcastle aka Waco, and not here.
We got here last night, went out for some food. Malaysian noodles are the bomb. The town is so cute, the people are nice, the venue is fantastic... yeah!
But, I haven't taken any pictures, so I need to work on that. I have tomorrow off until 6pm so I will bust out the camera then and post them when I get into work.
Am I really leaving Australia soon? Boo

Am I in Waco, TX?

Newcastle blows. We are in a hot trailer and I think this might be a farm house. Are we in Waco, TX again? End scene.

Sydney Opera House

After a lovely breakfast at the hotel, (baked beans, eggs, fried rice, passion fruit, honeycomb(like with the wax))we decided to head over to the Sydney Opera House before we had to jump into the bus to the venue. Who knew I would actually get to see it! It was a perfect day, we got awesome pictures. All and all, today was the best day I have had in Australia yet.
Plus, Jesse is at the show! Broken foot and all...

Anyway, here are some pictures of our adventures. 1 show today, then off to Newcastle for 1 show tomorrow!

Sydney mates!

Well this is the second time I'm writing this blog, since it all just got deleted. So it might not be as interesting as it was before...

We made it to Sydney yesterday afternoon! After checking into our hotel, I walked around the city while we still had an hour of daylight.
Our hotel is right across from Hyde Park (I feel like I'm in London) so I walked over there, to the botanical gardens. and to St. Marks (or John, or Paul, some Bible name) Church. It was delightful!
The weather was a bit rainy and cloudy, and it's pretty cold right now, but other than that Sydney is on the top of my Aussie list!
Last night Max and I found a pub to eat at (and there were $5 pints) with live music. It was fantastic, but we were the only ones dancing, apparently the Aussies don't know how to rock out like we do! USA - 1 Australia - 0
2 shows tonight, 1 tomorrow and then we are off to Newcastle!

P.S. the pics are dark because of the shitty weather...

1) there are crazy birds everywhere that make redic noises. Here is one, I don't know what it's called but it shouts.
2) Rach T alone date means I took pics of myself... there is the bay and a lot of grass
3) Max and I at the pub
4) ew so there were trees full of bats. It was gross. I got out of there before dark.
5) The other side of the city
6) The city and cockatoos
7) St. Mark, Paul, John Church, inside and out. It was a pretty cool church

Production saves the day!

Yesssss! We had a cable that fit into my camera in our case. So here are pictures of outback animals and me!

1) me kissing a kangaroo
2) baby kanga with mommy. so cute
3) the kanga is slowly hopping away from me...
4) aw
5) the city from my hotel window
6) Tasmanian Devil! This does not look like the cartoons... but it does eat chunks of meat
7) a baby koala with mom!
8) a wombat that bites... it looks like a hog
9) yeahhh
10) different kind of kangaroo... they were smaller and didn't hop around as much.

Made it to Brisbane!

We made it to Brisbane! The flight was pretty long, but not too bad. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours so yesterday was pretty tough to get through.
What made it a little easier was jumping with kangaroos all day! This is not a joke. I jumped with kangaroos, talked to koalas and snapped pics with Tasmanian Devils. We went to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary right outside of Brisbane.
So I took tons of pictures, and I wanted to post them today. Only I FORGOT MY CAMERA CORD. Who does that?
So now I have to go find one in the city like an a-hole. Hopefully I'll get one by tonight so you can watch me kiss kangaroos.
Today we are loading in the show and then have the evening free. Let's see how Australia parties!

I'll post again soon!

P.S. People are so nice here, some random couple paid for our dinner last night and everyone smiles. It's crazy.
