Where the sewage flows freely

Welcome to Abilene! On top of being sick and delirious, today had some surprises for us. Sewage started overflowing the toilets, showers, basically everything with a hole. yum, we aren't showering tonight.
Yesterday we were in Beaumont TX, it was pretty humid and rainy, not a place I would want to live in but not toooooo bad.
San Antonio was awesome! Saw a bunch of Will's friends, mom, slept in a real bed. grreat.

Tomorrow we are going to McAllen aka Mexico and then back to LA!

Yee-Ha from the Rodeo!

Good evening! Today we finished up in Waco, TX. The home of dairy farmers and mass cult murderers.
We put a couple shows on in a rodeo arena... there was hay, it smelled like horse poo and we got to stay in the home team's locker room! Though kind of gross, it was an experience.
Tomorrow we head to San Antonio where I will be seeing the manz's parents and friends. I'm getting ready to rock...

Leaving Tempe!

Today was our last day in Tempe! The weather was delightful (what we saw of it) but it was tiring, lots of stairs, and I'm ready to hit the next city. El Paso! I'll be sure to say "New York City!" a lot.

Aunt Colleen, Uncle Stillman, Uncle Dick and Aunt Jan came to our show today! They sat front row, at first I thought they were a little scared to be that close but they said they loved it! Probably because they were staring at my lovely face the whole time...

Bringing the magic to Tempe

First stop on the second leg of the 2009 tour, Tempe, AZ! It's 80 degrees, sunny and delightful. We are performing at ASU for the next 2 days so I am trying to pretend like I am a college student again... Can I still pull it off? Are there new lingos or college styles? Maybe I'll wear a cactus shirt all day.

LA never felt so good!

After a long travel day yesterday, I made it back to LA! I had thai and mexican food, got to see my manz, and chill out. 

Overall, the tour was awesome, I really love being on the road, not sleeping and meeting new people. I got a free workout everyday and food cooked for me! 

Next tour is going to start in Tempe, AZ and go through Texas starting mid February. Look out for the Leg 2 blogs then!

BTW, I alllllmost saw John Legend. I even talked to his bus driver and waited to see him leave his hotel... he must have passed right by me... of all the luck. But I did get a pic of his tour bus! Which looks just like ours...

Bikers + White Trash = Trouble

Before I got to Daytona Beach I thought it was going to be way awesome, that's before I saw the trash walking around. Being a vegetarian in this town did not help me at all either. We had a day off yesterday and it was delightful. I went to the beach for most of the day and tried to walk around town a little, until people kept staring at us and we got shouted at by big guys on bikes...

Sarasota Gulf side!

First, I would like to point out that this formatting is crap. If I had known this previously, I would have picked a different blogging area. Thanks google.

We are now in Sarasota which is right on the Gulf! Really really pretty, I only wish it was a little warmer....
